Sonic Character

Strymon's first all-analog drive pedal, the Fairfax recreates the touch-responsive, harmonically rich character of a Class A tube output stage. A proprietary 40V internal voltage rail drives a fully discrete analog circuit for authentic tube saturation and compression. The Sag control simulates power supply droop for that vintage amp feel, while the Bright switch adds top-end sparkle. Pure analog warmth with no DSP in the signal path.
