1. Data Accuracy & Variance: The Pedal Ledger is a data-tracking utility. While we automate the collection of pricing and technical specifications (including power requirements, dimensions, and features), this data is provided "as-is" for informational purposes.
2. Retailer Precedence: Prices, stock status, and final specifications are determined solely by the retailers. In the event of a discrepancy between The Pedal Ledger and a retailer's website, the retailer's information takes precedence. We are not liable for any purchase decisions made based on incorrect data on this site.
3. Technical Verification: We strongly advise users to verify critical technical specifications (such as voltage and polarity) directly with the manufacturer or retailer before connecting equipment to a power source.
4. Affiliate Disclosure: We may receive a commission for purchases made through our deep links. This does not influence our data or the prices displayed.
5. Email Notifications: By subscribing to price alerts or the weekly digest, you agree to receive transactional emails from us. Price alerts notify you when a specific pedal hits your target price. The weekly digest is a separate subscription highlighting price drops across our catalog. You may unsubscribe from either at any time via links in each email.
6. Separate Subscriptions: Price alerts and the weekly digest are independent subscriptions. Subscribing to one does not automatically subscribe you to the other.
7. Alert Accuracy: Price alerts are checked periodically. While we strive for timely notifications, we cannot guarantee immediate delivery when prices change. Actual prices may differ from your target threshold.
8. User Accounts: Creating an account requires a valid email address and email verification. Your account data (email, pedal boards, and preferences) is stored securely. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
